  3. TROUBLE-SHOOTING:
  4. ======================

  6. 1.  Problem due to incorrect Windows video driver.
  7. Symptoms:  Picture looks like missing some colors or shows only 16 colors.
  8. Correction: Exit Windows. Log into Windows subdirectory and run SETUP.
  9.             Move cursor bar to video driver and re-install video driver
  10.             with the driver disks that come with your video card.  Make
  11.             sure choose the one with 256 colors.
  12.  
  13. 2.  Certain Parts of the image are too bright on too dark.
  14. Correction:  Due to the hardware differences between different
  15.              monitors and video cards, you may need to adjust the
  16.              brightness and intensity of your monitor to get the
  17.              best images.

  19. 3.  Problem due to insufficient video memory and incorrect video card driver
  20. Symptoms:  There's no picture on screen, but the hard disk sounds like
  21.            it is retrieving something.
  22.            Strange colors in pictures 
  23. Correction:  If you have another VGA card, try it to see if problem persists.
  24. Find a VGA card with more memory. Choose a different video driver to see
  25. if problem goes away.

  27. 4.  WINDOWS does not boot up from the default menu in the CD-ROM.
  28. Correction:  WINDOWS directory is not in the DOS path.  Simply add
  29.              WINDOWS in your DOS path in your AUTOEXEC.BAT.

  31. 5.  I get "SHARING VIOLATION" when runing Clipart/ Font Viewer.
  32. CORRECTION: DOS version earlier than 6.22 will give you this error
  33.             message.  Simpy add SHARE in your AUTOEXEC.BAT:
  34.             C:\DOS\SHARE
